I’ve probably said it a hundred times but what I call my lazy days are probably way more productive than what some people would consider a lazy day. For me a lazy day pretty much means I do my usual chores, (on my feet all day long) exercise, take care of the children, etc…but without changing out of my clothes I slept in and now showering, ha. That’s what I mean by a lazy day…
This morning (Thursday) I spent all morning doing all our laundry and packing the boys up to go camping with my mom and family for a few days. Of course I can never do one thing at a time but I managed to clean the basement, wash the dishes, make beds, wash sheets, feed the children, put clothes away, It’s just constant running all around the house. After my mom finally picked up the boys I put poo poo head down for a nap and hopped on the treadmill for a “lazy” two mile walk….in my flip flops haha, I told you, lazy.
See the time? Yup, lazy again, it was nice to slow down and still sweat at the same time, you don’t always have to kill yourself to have an effective workout, nope…I just browsed some internet on my iPad as I walked, so peaceful! After I finished I “cleaned up”, as in took a washcloth shower haha, deodorized, freshened my face with some makeup for the first time that day (it was about 4:30 p.m.) because I was heading out with poo poo head and my sister to go grocery shopping and a few other errands.
I was really happy when I picked up my sister that she looked pretty similar, LOL. I’m sure she at least showered though unlike me.
After about 4 hours of shopping I’m all snug in my bed and ready for another busy day tomorrow, sister in law and brother in law (and baby cousin) are coming over to hang out for a few hours, will be fun and I’m looking forward to a quiet morning without the boys (although I do miss them already!) So weird going from 3 down to 1 for a few days, ah the peace and quiet! I think my favorite part about the boys being away will be the house staying clean for longer than 5 minutes. Now before I leave….I give you this..
Remember this one? I’ve been promising you multiple times, but only showing you delicious pictures? I figured I’d whip that up for you today since it’s been on my mind and I’m going to make some tonight for the next few days!
It’s REALLY easy. It’s REALLY healthy. And it’s REALLY good.
There’s been a big “banana” soft serve crave going around for sometime now. I’ve been making it for months, not a ton, but from time to time, and it’s so perfect for that ice cream craving. I big tip I tell to lots of people is to always have a big bag of frozen chopped banana’s in your freezer, they are perfect to add to your smoothies AND for that late night ice cream attack when you need a quick and easy solution. If you prefer LESS of a banana flavor in your creations freeze the bananas when you first buy them, if you want a authentic banana flavor to peek through your desserts chopped and freeze them after they have ripened.
This recipe is more than just bananas though, that can get boring, sometimes I like a more complex refreshing flavor to my cold frozen desserts. So I added a few extra ingredients along with bananas to come up with this sweet Grape Banana Ice Cream!
Grape Banana Ice Cream
1 cup Frozen Green Grapes
1 cup Frozen Banana chunks
1/2 cup Plain Chobani Greek yogurt
1/2 cup unsweetened Coconut milk (or almond, soy, cows…)
1/4 cup Honey
Directions
Put all ingredients in a high powdered blender and mix until smooth, add more coconut milk if needed. You can eat right away, freeze until firmer, or make into popsicles for kids!
You’re welcome.

yeah you’re lazy day isn’t that lazy lol!! Mine consist of sleeping in and watching movies all day. I hate when that happens though because I do get cabin fever
Very cool that you added grapes to the ice cream. Pretty unique and probably lends a lot of flavor.
I agree with Lynda, not lazy in the slightest hehe
What an interesting flavor and ingredients in that ice cream recipe… the grapes sound like a great addition!
